Bio riddle 

Today I will be doing a rhyme, 

About my notable who has changed the world many times. 

 

He fights for rights; he once went on a strike, 

He and Eddie Mabo are quite alike. 

 

His strike went on for nine long years, 

As he went around it brought everyone to tears. 

 

He persuaded politicians to be on his side, 

He brought the whole of the indigenous community pride. 

 

It was in 1975 that Gough Whitlam handed him the soil, 

It felt great to the Gurindji people, as this is where they put in their toil. 

 

It was there at Wave Hill where they made a plaque, 

It said that the Gurindji people had been give their land back. 

 

His legacy lives up until this day, 

He is known in many different ways. 

 

My notable's life is so wild it's like a safari, 

The man I am talking about is Vincent Lingiari.
